  1. Michelle,

Overall very nicely done. Here are some of my observations. You present a visually appealing format for your video. You deliver your narration with a good pace. There are some moments of choppy video editing between "live" clips and static clips. This is something that you will get better with as you get comfortable with your video editing software. The interviews that you conducted with other teachers are very effective. I loved the use of a Voki, but he was cut off at the end. Was there to be credits at the end of the video? The video stopped play with about 1 second left. I believe we should have some sort of credits at the end of the video. Overall I found the presentation informative and I enjoyed watching it. Well done.

    1. Hi Joshua,
Thanks for your comment. After reading your post I watched it again and realized that somehow the audio had shifted before the Voki presentation came to an end! However, tis is easy to fix! I am a novice at this, but the experience was a rewarding one! I'm sure in the future as you stated I'll get better! In the interest of time, I chose to provide the credit as a part of the written annotated references as stated in the rubric. Hopefully this was also accepted. Again that you for veiwing my video.

  2. Great job with your video and I enjoyed working with you on this project! Thanks for hosting our Skype session for Group C.

I especially liked your use of interviews in your video, you utilized adult learners to address your focus on motivating adults. I also like how you talked about using your web camera to record pieces of your video, this is a useful resources and will help me in the future.I am not sure about how you uses the avatar but you have motivated me to find out how to use one in my own learning. This part of the video was very successful showing the relationships and differences between adult learning and motivation and that of children. While watching your video, I wondered about how to motivate not only adults but teenagers and how your suggestions would help them also.

  3. Candice,
Thanks for being an instrumental part of our group meeting session. I enjoyed being a part of an incredible understanding team. I think if we take each of our topic (within our group - gaming, differentiated instruction, critical thinking and motivation) can all be applied to the teenagers in your class!

  4. Michelle, Nicely done and an important topic. I may have misunderstood your narration, but at about the 1:00 point, you said you would talk about what demotivates the online learner. But the first slide that followed was about motivating the learner. The video scene with the disgruntled adult online learners sent the message home. Again, nicely done.

  5. Hello Michelle,

Your video was very well put together. You used nice visuals and everything flowed lovely. I also liked how you used interviews to the point about adult learners. It was also nice working with you in this learning environment as your group member. Good luck with your future endeavors!
